At Ginger by Vilasa we believe in supporting our local community and select locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. Our menu is a collection of our best sellers and new dishes created by Chef Pubudu.
Chef Pubudu is a Sri Lankan local who has worked at five star restaurants in Colombo and Dubai including Cinnamon Lakeside and Colombo Hilton.
Ginger by Vilasa is owned by the Vilasa Group, started in 1995 by Sanath and Suniltha Kumarasinghewho were one of the first restaurants in Colombo to serve authentic Sri Lankan rice and curry. The Vilasa Group is now managed by their son Pasan Kumarasinge, an active member of the Colombo community.
