History

The Java Institute for Advanced Technology was founded in 2005 and it is a pioneering training provider of academic as well as professional qualifications pertaining to the discipline of Software Engineering in Sri Lanka.

In addition to this, the Java Institute for Advanced Technology is an approved centre of the internationally recognised Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA). Accordingly, the Java Institutefor Advanced Technology is one of the chief institutes that deliver the widely renowned Scottish Qualifications in Sri Lanka.

Branches and Student Base

Today,the Java Institute accommodates over 3500 students in five branches that are located in major cities including Colombo, Kandy, Kurunegala, Gampaha, and Matara. Consequently, a multitude of students from each and every region of the island are able to garner access to the training programmes and facilities provided by the Java Institute.
